You can explore a wonderful choice of walks which includes the famous '1066 walk' starting on the opposite bank from The Windmill and continuing for over 30 miles to Pevensey. Rye's internationally renowned nature reserve also provides a network of footpaths taking in sights such as Camber Castle and the great shingle beach at Winchelsea.
