The most important meal of the day
Our guests warm to the charm of Rye Windmill and one of the highlights of their stay is the freshly cooked breakfast served in ‘The Granary’. Our philosophy is ‘The best ingredients, cooked to order’.
This includes fresh mushrooms, local free-range eggs and slow roasted tomatoes. During weekdays in the winter months, and by prior request, we can serve home-made pork and apple patties and black pudding. A continental, vegetarian and gluten-free breakfast are also available.
At breakfast guests have a choice of five fruit juices including the celebrated pear and apple juice from Owl House Farm in Lamberhurst. There is also a choice of four cereals, home-made muesli and a steady supply of toast, fairtrade tea and coffee.
